RISC Technician Trainee

About the role

AMERISAFE is seeking a detail-oriented, productivity-driven professional to join their “Excellence Team” based in DeRidder, LA.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency in the use of all applications utilized by the team
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers and associates
• Project a positive and professional image when interacting with all AMERISAFE personnel and customers
• Complete all tasks in accordance with established Sarbanes Oxley Work Flows
• Provide assistance to team members as needed to ensure team goals and objectives are met
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and guidelines of AMERISAFE and of the Claims Department
• Attend training classes, workshops, and seminars as directed
• Maintain confidentiality at all times in accordance with company policy
• Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor
• Foster the AMERISAFE culture by embracing the pillars of consistency, focus, frugality, ownership, and service

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and dedicated to quality task completion
• Flexible, self-motivated, and demonstrates strong commitment to organizational goals and objectives
• Flexibility with schedule rotation, including 6 am to 3 pm, 8 am to 5 pm, and 10 am to 7 pm as well as rotating lunch schedules
• High School Diploma or equivalent formal education
• Ability to compose short written responses using basic rules of grammar and correct spelling
• Clear and concise oral communication
• Professional comportment with a strong sense of customer service
• Experience in a customer service, call center, or clerical/office assistant position
