Rink Operator - Part Time

Phillips Academy has an immediate opening for a part-time Rink Operator in Andover, MA.

About the role

Responsibilities include the operation of an electric ice resurfacer and the performance of other maintenance and janitorial duties. Additional duties include pro shop attendant, skate sharpening, and hockey instructor. Experience preferred but not required as we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric ice resurfacer
• Perform maintenance and janitorial duties
• Work as a pro shop attendant
• Sharpen skates
• Instruct hockey (and other related duties)

Requirements

• Physical ability to perform all job functions
• Ability to work in a cold environment

Schedule

• Weekend and evening shifts
• 8-16 hours per week, with potential for additional shifts as needed

Pay

$22 per hour
