Essential Functions
- Affords assistance to customers at the skate rental counter.
- Determines the correct size of rentals and checks out customers.
- Performs other duties about customer service, answering questions related to programs and/or operations, and related duties as assigned.
- Utilizes computers and related software such as word processing and risk management.
- Participates in janitorial duties such as keeping all areas of the facility neat, clean, and safe at all times.
- Includes sweeping and mopping the rink restrooms, locker rooms, shower areas, lobby, meeting rooms, bleachers, removing trash, cleaning rink glass, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge Of customer service techniques; cash handling procedures; basic addition and subtraction.
- Ability to: interact with the general public; provide a high level of customer service; display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of City employees, the general public and other organizations; communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance; complete assignments in a timely fashion; understand and comply with all rules, policies and regulations; maintain prompt and regular attendance; and perform all essential and marginal functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor and/or manager with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Preferred Knowledge, Experience, And Training: 6 months working in a customer service role.

- Applicants Must Be Able To Pass City of Boise background check processes which includes a criminal history check and reference checks in accordance with the City of Boise Hiring Process Regulation
