Ice Rink Attendant

About the role

The Ice Rink Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable skating environment for guests. Duties include maintaining the ice surface by removing snow and operating the ice resurfacer, ensuring the cleanliness of the rink plaza and surrounding areas, and performing basic maintenance on rink equipment and components. This position interacts directly with guests by answering questions, providing assistance, and delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates are dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced recreational setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ice surface by removing snow and operating the ice resurfacer
• Ensure the cleanliness of the rink plaza and surrounding areas
• Perform basic maintenance on rink equipment and components
• Interact directly with guests by answering questions and providing assistance
• Deliver excellent customer service

Requirements

• Afternoon and evening shift, 1pm-9pm
• Some weekends and holidays required
• Must be a people person willing to go beyond the expected for guests
• Driver’s license and clean driving record

$20.00 – $24.00 per hour

Schedule

Afternoon and evening shift, 1pm-9pm. Some weekends and holidays required.
