Right of Way Vegetation Control Applicator (Pontiac) Requires MDARD Licenses

About the role

This is NOT an entry-level position. You must have at least 1 year of Landscaping Crew Leader work experience and Pesticide Spray Application experience at a company we can contact to verify.

Responsibilities

• Lead landscaping crews in vegetation control and pesticide application
• Operate spray equipment safely and effectively

Requirements

• Current MDARD State Pesticide License (6 Core & Right of Way REQUIRED; 3A, 3B preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of previous Spray Tech experience
• Chauffer’s License and clean driving record
• Must pass criminal background check, driving background check, and drug test as part of the MDOT Medical Card process

Qualifications

• Proven Landscaping Crew Leader experience (required on resume)
• Pesticide Spray Application experience (required on resume)

Pay

Starting at $18 per hour. Rate of pay is dependent upon previous work experience and certifications/licenses held.
