Right of Way Section Lead
About the role
We are seeking a Right of Way Section Lead to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting in the operations of a production section, managing staff, coordinating with clients, and implementing company policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support
- Function as an Assistant Project Manager and assist in responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities
- Aid in administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, leading and coordinating services with other sections
- Involvement in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews
- Directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production, and related issues
- Achieve and support the proactive project management system
- Ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through proactive project management system
- Implement, monitor, and support company policy
- Aid in the selection, training, development, and management of technical personnel
- Collaborate with operations leadership to forecast workload, align staffing plans, and optimize team utilization
- Maintain and provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to ensure accountability and continuous development
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure pursuit strategies align with delivery capabilities and client expectations
- Perform duties as needed
Requirements
- 10 years of experience with right of way services including acquisition, appraisal, property management and relocation
- Real Estate license or Broker license (or ability to obtain within 3 months if required)
- Familiarity with public project ROW rules and regulations related to acquisition
- Ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Prominent ability to effectively collaborate with team members and property owners on complex, schedule-driven projects
- Proven ability to motivate and manage staff across multiple concurrent projects
- Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years experience

Location and Compensation
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
