Key Responsibilities
- Deliver acquisition and relocation services in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Act and project-specific regulations
- Support federally funded transportation projects under the guidance of the Project Manager or project team
- Prepare real estate conveyance documents and conduct basic property research, including ownership and boundary details
- Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding acquisition and relocation matters
- Draft and manage project-related documents, reports, and correspondence
- Attend meetings and maintain organized project files and records
- Provide responsive customer service and clear communication to stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Background in real estate, title work or similar industry
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Prioritization of customer service expertise
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (URA)
- 2+ years of experience in acquisition, negotiation, relocation or related real estate work
- Active Real Estate license in the state of Washington, Oregon, or Idaho
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations related to property acquisition
