RIGGING DEPARTMENT LEAD

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Rigging Department Technicians
• Execute all pick lists
• Maintain a high level of quality control
• Check-in and check-out orders
• Clean, organize, test and troubleshoot equipment
• Keep updated certifications on all motors, controls, rigging and power distribution systems and equipment
• Perform general repair and maintenance of the equipment
• Learn and work in other departments within the Shop as necessary

Requirements

• Previous rigging experience in theatrical rigging and electric motors
• Good computer skills
• Proactive approach to troubleshooting and repair
• Experience in the entertainment lighting and video industry (strongly preferred)
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs. (duties include loading and unloading trucks)
