Responsibilities
- Operate Ride Maintenance areas including repair and maintenance
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Handle service calls
- Train others on maintenance procedures
- Schedule work activities
- Adhere to safety, park, and departmental policies
Qualifications
- Three years prior experience as a ride mechanic at a Six Flags Theme Park or the equivalent preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- Thorough operational understanding of maintenance procedures to include State and OEM requirements
- Capability to access all areas of the park (to include confined spaces and heights above 200ft)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., bend, squat, and kneel
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools, heavy equipment, and ability to train others on their safe usage
- Experience working outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
