Qualifications
Hold a mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings. Two (2) year experience in a supervisory position; preferred. Five (5) years of aircraft maintenance experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Remaining current with GoJet Airlines policies/procedures and CAMP and ensure personnel under his/her supervision comply with requirements.
- Continuously updating Maintenance Control of aircraft status in his/her respective work area.
- Ensuring work area is properly maintained and clean.
- Ensuring maintenance in progress is accomplished in accordance with proper procedures and completed in the most effective and efficient manner.
- Promoting safety as number one priority in both aircraft and personnel.
- Reporting all accidents or incidents involving equipment and personnel to the appropriate manager.
- Ensuring that the proper tools and equipment are available and utilized, and personnel are trained in their use.
- Ensuring Calibrated equipment is maintained, in his assigned work area, in accordance with the Calibrated Tools and Test Equipment Program. (GMM1 CH 4)
- Ensuring mechanics are utilizing appropriate technical data.
- Reporting malfunctions of ground support equipment to Ground Maintenance and advise appropriate manager or director.
- Ensuring any ground equipment, which is not functioning properly, is locked out and tagged.
- Ensuring any maintenance, which is not completed, is properly recorded, and turned over to the next shift or individual.
- Ensuring maintenance personnel do not exceed duty time limitations by monitoring their work schedules. (14CFR 121.377 and GMM1 CH1 Part 1.1)
- Ensuring mechanics are in compliance with the OJT program. (MXTM CH3)
- Autorizing and assigning duties to Maintenance Staff.
- Ensuring technician compliance for the Maintenance Log Recording requirement.
- Ensuring that any designated inspector utilized during his/her shift is authorized to complete assigned inspections.
- Ensure potable water servicing equipment is maintained per GMM and maintain file of SWDA-02 forms for five (5) years. (GMM2 CH 11)
- Maintenance Supervisors and Supervising Managers are responsible to inspect the toolboxes of all New-Hire personnel at the time of their arrival for personally owned tools that require calibration. (GMM 1-4.)
