Opportunity Details

  • Cover general rheumatology clinics and provide inpatient care in the UPMC system at Pittsburgh-based hospitals.
  • 4-day work week
  • Dedicated clinics at the University of Pittsburgh Sjgren's Disease Center
  • Dedicated clinics at the University of Pittsburgh Vasculitis Center
  • Sjgren's and vasculitis clinical trials
  • Minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year (negotiable)
  • Provide quality rheumatology instruction, training, and mentorship in the inpatient/outpatient settings to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals
  • Interact with their academic and basic science colleagues in the Division of Rheumatology and the Department of Medicine as part of their employment; this includes but is not limited to attending division and departmental faculty meetings, serving on committees; working to solve /address quality concerns and attending grand rounds
