Nuclear Medicine Physician Job with UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA
About the role
The Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor NT (Full-Time) position in the Nuclear Medicine Division at UPMC and the UPMC/University of Pittsburgh is open for applications. The position requires an MD degree or equivalent, board eligibility or certification from the American Board of Radiology and/or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, and completion of a Nuclear Medicine fellowship.
Responsibilities
- Mix of clinical, teaching, and academic responsibilities
- Interest in academic and clinical nuclear medicine with strong skills in PET CT and theranostics
- Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Requirements
- MD degree or equivalent
- Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and/or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine
- Unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania
- Completed Nuclear Medicine fellowship
Qualifications
- Strong skills in PET CT and theranostics
- Experience in nuclear medicine oncologic and non-oncologic imaging, neuroimaging, PET CT imaging
- Knowledge of radionuclide therapies including Pluvicto and Lutathera
- Ability to teach ACGME accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program trainees and a dedicated PET/CT fellowship
Skills
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Research and development experience in instrumentation and radiotracers
- Experience with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
