Responsibilities

  • Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
  • Manages the physician/patient relationship.
  • Participates in systemwide health management initiatives.
  • Provides input into the practice site’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
  • Aids in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
  • Receives and resolves patient complaints.
  • Assists in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, inservices, and workshops.
  • Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of patients with rheumatologic disorders.
  • Performs other functions as required.

    Requirements

    • M.D. or D.O., board eligible or certified in Rheumatology.
    • NM License Required.

      About the Role

      Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Rheumatologist to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

      We're all about well-being, starting with yours. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.

      Practice Highlights Monday-Friday with 36 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours of administrative time. Call is in rotation with the group. Telemedicine options available
