About the role

The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville is seeking a board certified Rheumatologist to join their growing academic division. This position offers an ideal blend of academic engagement and clinical practice in one of the most scenic and livable regions in the southeast.

Responsibilities

  • Enjoy a collaborative environment with limited inpatient call, restricted to rheumatology consults and shared among five faculty members
  • Onsite clinical pharmacist support
  • Weekly division meetings for case discussion and shared learning
  • Opportunities to rotate through satellite clinics
  • Dedicated research staff to support scholarly activity
  • Affordable opportunities to teach and mentor medical students and residents
