Rheumatologist - Waterford, CT

About the role

The Hartford HealthCare Medical Group (HHCMG) in Waterford, CT is seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join their team of ten Rheumatologists and several Advance Practice Providers. The position offers a satisfying Monday through Friday schedule, point-of-care MSK Ultrasound availability, opportunities for research and academic appointments, and a robust referral stream.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of rheumatic diseases including autoimmune disorders, musculoskeletal conditions, and inflammatory conditions
• Mentoring of advance practice providers and other members of the medical group
• Participation in research activities and academic appointments
• Collaboration with other specialists and primary care physicians to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine
• A completed ACGME-accredited Rheumatology Fellowship
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Connecticut

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine degree required
• One to two years of experience preferred
