Rheumatologist – Remote (PRN / 1099 Independent Contractor)

Summary

Avel eCare, a leader in specialty telemedicine, seeks a Rheumatologist as a PRN / 1099 Independent Contractor. The role offers remote practice with flexible hours and support from Avel's telehealth network.

Essential Functions

- Conduct remote consultations to diagnose and develop treatment plans for rheumatic and autoimmune diseases. - Offer personalized care and prescribe appropriate medications, including DMARDs, biologics, and other treatments. - Provide patient education and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. - Maintain accurate patient records and stay updated with the latest rheumatology and telemedicine developments.

Education and Experience

- MD or DO degree required. - Minimum 1 year practice experience in Rheumatology. - Telemedicine experience preferred but not required.

Certification, Licensure, and Registrations

- Active DEA certification and Board Certification/Board Eligible in Rheumatology. - Unrestricted state license (any state in the U.S.).
