RHB Technician
About the role
The RHB Technician position is responsible for operating and maintaining RHB machine processing systems, ensuring production meets customer specifications, and providing guidance to packers and utilities.
Responsibilities
- Process RHB machines within process guidelines
- Maximize production and direct packers and utilities
- Ensure product quality meets customer specifications
- Monitor daily production performance and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards
- Resolve process-related issues and perform equipment maintenance
- Complete required paperwork
- Support the Food Safety Program (GMP)
Requirements
- Verify product quality and respond to problems
- Follow safety procedures and demonstrate LOTO knowledge
- Locate and understand machine safety features
- Perform daily PM and complete associated paperwork
- Understand and operate various equipment components
- Setup and adjust downstream equipment
- Have 3+ years of experience in RHB processing or similar plastic processing
Qualifications
- Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds overhead
- Flexibility for walking and standing for 12 hours per day
- Knowledge of oven setup and reheat curves
- Ability to operate a forklift safely

Schedule
Rotating 12-hour shifts with two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off.
Organization Relationships
Reports to Shift Supervisor for scheduling, performance evaluations, and compensation; indirectly reports to Department Manager for product and quality requirements, and to Lead RHB Process Technician for day-to-day responsibilities.
