RFC QA Clerk (Auditor) - 2nd Shift

About the team
Our Supply Chain and Logistics team provides top-notch service to our stores and purchasing teams, contributing to the goal of making Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain-minded customers. The team oversees the successful movement of products from vendors to stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.
About the role
You will audit inventory picked for store orders, assist the Inventory Control Team in identifying and correcting inventory inaccuracies, and document and facilitate corrective measures for audited pallets. The Quality Assurance Clerk reports to the Inventory Control Manager.
Responsibilities
- Break down, audit, and reassemble freight on outbound pallets prior to load dispatch.
- Record and report errors discovered during the audit process.
- Correct errors to ensure 100% accuracy on pallets audited.
- Perform root cause analysis on inaccuracies to prevent further errors.
- Partner with RFC leadership and warehouse personnel to address audit results.
- Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile actual stock to computer-generated reports.
- Assist with moving outbound pallets and other warehouse inventories as needed.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, and assist in resolving issues.
- May lead, guide, and train other employees, interns, or volunteers.
- Operate various forklifts, including order pickers, sit-down, standup, and pallet jacks.
- Maintain clean and orderly workstations.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in inventory control, auditing, quality assurance, or related experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and make decisions quickly with limited information.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Intermediate experience with Excel preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Concern for achieving positive outcomes and growing the business.
- Creativity, resourcefulness, and willingness to take ownership.
Pay
Base salary: $20.00 per hour.
