RF Test Technician (Nights)
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY
Builds, tests, troubleshoots, and performs services and repairs on assemblies, sub-assemblies or systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform diversified test operations and troubleshoot electronic assemblies to component level
- Work effectively with the assembly team to ensure timely shipments
- Diagnose test failures and coordinate corrective actions
- Calibrate electronic test equipment and test stations
- Ensure all test equipment utilized is in working order and in calibration at all times
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machines and equipment
- Manage time to meet new production, return schedules and budget
- Provide accurate and timely status updates to new production and return tracking documents
- Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
- Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary
- Ability to adhere to workplace rules
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, work instructions and component identifications
- Perform required test operations
- General test equipment utilized (Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Frequency counter, and Power Meter)
- Ability to work with minute parts and demonstrate finger dexterity
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of test technician experience
- Advanced experience with MS Office
- Working knowledge of digital and RF electronics
- Successful completion of electronic technician training, AS degree in Electronic Technology, or equivalent, preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Production environment
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (use of arm-hand steadiness, finger dexterity, manual dexterity for small parts assembly, frequent use)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
