Laboratory Technician - Nights

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
• Prepares, composites and logs samples, per the Waste Analysis Plan
• Performs required fingerprint and pre-approval sample analysis, per the Waste Analysis Plan and reports according to supervisor
• Completes bench analysis for in-house processing
• Prepares and checks calibration curves for all analytical instrumentation
• Monitors lab instrumentation for malfunction or incompatibility with samples
• Monitors lab equipment and chemical supply inventory and places purchase requests with supervisor
• Maintains proper logs based on Company policies and procedures
• Coordinates the retention and disposal of lab samples and waste per Company policy
• Performs housekeeping duties per Company policy
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; specialization in chemistry preferred
• In lieu of degree, 2+ years of documented laboratory work experience required

Schedule

Sunday through Tuesday & every other Wednesday, 6pm to 6:30am
