Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct tests on components and assemblies under operational conditions
• Read and interpret specifications in production units
• Execute RF tests per documented procedure and provide accurate data for the units
• Communicate during the RF test stage with the responsible technician of a product with out of tolerance RF measurements and other issues
• Be able to clearly communicate and interact with the Quality personnel and the necessary production and manufacturing personnel to resolve production-related issues
• Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and hazardous materials

Requirements

• A working understanding of the RF and DC testing that is completed in support of production
• Some of the tests are gain, VSWR, 1 dB compression point, Sat power, 3rd OIP, noise figure, spurious, and harmonics
• Understand how to use microwave measurements, RF amplifiers, automated testing, and manual testing of microwave products with limited supervision
• Knowledge of test equipment such as network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, RF generator, noise figure meters, power meters, etc.
• 5+ years of experience in RF field and/or training
• U.S. Citizen status in order to be eligible to obtain/maintain a D.O.D. security clearance
