RF Research and Development Laboratory Manager with Security Clearance
About the role
Design, establish, and maintain laboratory infrastructure, including RF test equipment, hardware, software, networking, and data management systems.
Validate laboratory capabilities and ensure safe, secure, and efficient laboratory operations in accordance with applicable policies and best practices.
Establish and maintain required regulatory compliance, laboratory certifications, licenses, and operational procedures necessary to support RF and radar technology development.
Translate research and technology development objectives into practical laboratory architecture, test environments, and engineering solutions.
Serve as the laboratory system administrator, managing computing resources, software tools, data storage, configuration management, and user access.
Develop and execute laboratory test plans to support hardware integration, software development, algorithm validation, and system performance characterization.
Support end-to-end technology development activities, including modeling and simulation, hardware prototyping, software- and hardware-in-the-loop testing, and system integration.
Cook up laboratory equipment procurement, inventory management, maintenance, and calibration to ensure mission readiness.
Document laboratory processes, configurations, and test results, and provide technical recommendations to engineering and program leadership.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Two to five years of professional experience supporting laboratory operations, systems administration, software development, RF/radar engineering, or related research and development activities.
- Experience administering Windows and/or Linux systems, laboratory networks, or engineering computing environments.
- Familiarity with laboratory test equipment, hardware integration, and software configuration management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to support multiple engineering efforts in a collaborative environment.
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
