Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Aeronautical Systems Engineering, or an engineering related field and 12+ years of professional experience
  • Familiar with the application of systems engineering and software development processes to the design, development, integration, test, and verification of complex systems
  • RF or EW lab testing experience
  • Experience with suppliers in designing requirements for products, and testing those products
  • Active Secret Clearance required

Job Description

  • Architects and designs Radio Frequency systems and circuitry
  • Designs and develops RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers
  • Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test
  • Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics
  • Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase
  • Develops RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment
  • Performs link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources
  • Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements
  • Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs)
  • Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis
  • Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis

Desired Skills

  • Electronic Warfare system design, development, and testing
  • Experience with Infrared detection systems
  • Experience with requirements development, system integration, and utilizing RF stimulators
  • Experience with Laboratory System Integration and Test, SIMSIL and STIMSIS experience
  • Mission Data File design, preparation, and testing
  • Experience with: requirements derivation, Verification and Validation Matrix design, and requirements testing
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving: System Defects, Deficiency Reports (DRs), and Software Problem Anomaly Reports (SPARs), particularly as they relate to Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
  • Program Manager experience, test lead experience, System Engineer lead, and Procurement Lead experience
  • Experience procuring or operating a CEESIM or other EW stimulator

  • Ability to work remotely
  • Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
