Sr. RF Design Engineer

Description

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SATCOM, tactical communications, or radar systems. Familiarity with adaptive tuning, optimization, and error correction techniques. Experience supporting system integration and field testing. Exposure to defense or government programs.

Required Qualifications

• Must have an active DoD Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in RF systems, communications engineering, or related fields
• Experience in the design, implementation, and analysis of communication systems
• Proficiency with SDR frameworks such as GNU Radio, REDHAWK, or similar
• Experience with C/C++ for embedded or systems-level applications
• Experience with modeling, simulation, and system validation techniques
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• What You'll Do:
• Contribute to the design and development of RF communication systems for defense and secure applications.
• Develop, analyze, and validate models for communications and RF-based systems.
• Design and implement signal processing algorithms.
• Support software-defined radio (SDR) development using frameworks such as GNU Radio, REDHAWK, or similar.
• Participate in system integration, testing, and validation activities, including hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software, hardware, and cybersecurity engineers.
• Document technical work and present findings to internal stakeholders and program teams.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $185000.00/yr. Competitive salary (based on experience and market conditions)
