RF Engineer

Responsibilities

Support the National InBuilding team in reviewing InBuilding designs (in iBwave format) and completing the required RF paperwork per project.

Filing 911 and regulatory paperwork for all projects assigned to you.

Team up with experienced RF Design engineers to manage projects throughout the country.

Requirements

• IBWave Certification or practical experience with IBWave
• Extensive knowledge of FCC Emissions and RF Safety guidelines
• Proficient on RF/Regulatory and PM Software: Atoll, Fuze/Siterra, Roofmaster/Roofview
• Expertise with office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
• RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data for Nortel, Client, and/or Nokia infrastructure
• A good understanding of engineering concepts
• Experience with RAN and DAS OEM systems
• Expertise with prediction and Mapping tools (Atoll, iBwave, MapInfo, Windcatcher)
• An in-depth understanding of the various aspects of the RF Engineering elements that affect the decisions they are making or recommending
• An end-to-end understanding of the systems they are making decisions on and the technologies that are driving them
• A firm grasp and hands-on knowledge of the tools they are using as well as understand the range and limitations of those tools
• Paying attention to the minute details of a project or task
• Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task
• Completing assigned tasks under stressful situations

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry
• 4 to 6 years of experience in RF Design

Pay

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $85.00 - $87.33/hr.

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
