About the role
The Madisonhealth's Rexburg Medical Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide direct and indirect patient care, specifically for the age group served at the medical clinic. The CMA communicates with providers and nurses regarding changes in the patient's clinical condition, including results from diagnostic studies and symptomatology. They perform general medical assisting duties under supervision and participate in performance improvement activities. Ensuring quality, efficient, and safe care is a priority, aligned with the center's standards of care and the organization's mission, philosophy, and goals.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with providers and nurses about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.
- Perform general medical assisting duties under supervision.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the center's standards of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program
- Certified Medical Assistant, current
- Basic Life Support, current

Pay
Regular Part Time - 3.69 hrs per pay period
Full Time - 6.77 hrs per pay period
Long Term Sick - percentage of hrs worked
Schedule
Mon-Fri 8:00am-6:00pm
One day off a week.
Some Saturdays 9:00am-12:00pm
