Revit Pipe Detailer / Modeler

As a Revit Pipe Detailer, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models of piping systems using Revit. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient designs. Your role will involve interpreting technical specifications, addressing design issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This critical role seeks to utilize the highest levels of technology, construction knowledge and standards to produce high quality 2D and 3D construction documents to increase efficiency and reduce cost. RESPONSIBILITIES: Create detailed 3D models of piping systems using RevitCollaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to meet project requirementsInterpret blueprints, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other technical specificationsAddress and resolve design issues within the Revit environmentEnsure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulationsConduct site visits to gather data and verify conditions for accurate modelingPrepare material take-offs and bills of materialsCommunicate design concepts and updates effectively Requirements Proficiency in Revit for creating detailed 3D models of piping systemsKnowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processesFamiliarity with piping design principles, including system layouts and componentsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings and modelsExcellent collaboration and communication skillsProblem-solving skills to address and resolve design issuesUnderstanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulationsField experience with site visits to gather data and verify conditionsStrong verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding of trade coordination between HVAC, piping, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems. Physical Requirements This job requires the ability to work at a desk with computer equipment for prolonged periods of time. Eye-hand coordination and sustained focus are essential.
