Revit Drafter
Responsibilities
- Draft pre-fabrication and construction documents using Revit in support of electrical and related engineering projects.
- Prepare engineering documents and drawings in accordance with project specifications, codes, and applicable regulations.
- Develop and update equipment specification drawings to reflect accurate technical details and project requirements.
- Create and maintain single line diagrams for electrical systems to ensure clarity and consistency across project documentation.
- Produce grounding drawings that accurately represent grounding systems and comply with relevant standards.
- Develop conduit and tray layout drawings that show routing, sizing, and coordination with other disciplines.
- Create conduit and cable schedules to document quantities, sizes, and routing information for construction and fabrication.
- Prepare panel schedules to detail circuit assignments, loads, and panel configurations.
- Support the preparation of heat trace drawings and related documentation as required by project scope.
- Aid in lighting calculations and associated drawings to ensure proper illumination levels and code compliance.
- Contribute to load calculations and related documentation to support electrical system design and verification.
- Work closely with a large drafting and engineering team in an open, collaborative environment to coordinate deliverables and resolve design issues.
- Maintain accuracy, organization, and consistency across all drawings and documents, following established standards and procedures.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience drafting in either AutoCAD or Revit.
- Proficiency using Revit for creating detailed engineering and construction drawings.
- Experience producing drawings such as equipment specifications, single line diagrams, grounding layouts, area classifications, equipment and instrument layouts, conduit and tray layouts, conduit and cable schedules, panel schedules, heat trace drawings, lighting calculations, and load calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when developing and reviewing technical drawings.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic to support project schedules and team commitments.
Skills
- Electrical drafting experience is a plus and will be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including layouts, single line diagrams, and load calculations.
- An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in drafting is preferred but not required.
- Comfort working in both Revit and AutoCAD environments as needed.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to feedback.
- Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and changing priorities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
