Revit Designer – Water/Wastewater

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project engineers utilizing Revit to create civil and mechanical construction documents for water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, water and wastewater pump stations, pipelines and other utility work.
• Utilize Revit and/or CAD Civil 3D software to develop technical drawings and plans.
• Make and quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity.
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Show knowledge of engineering principles and suggest design changes.
• Maintain drawing database.
• Train others in Autodesk Software products, Revit and/or Civil 3D.
• Coordinate work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control.
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• May supervise others.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk Software products, Revit and/or Civil 3D.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter.
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
