Reverse Software Engineer, Level 1 (AE26081401)

Location: Hanover, MD. All work is on-site; this is not a hybrid or remote position.

About the Role

Ability to deliver high-quality code under strict resource and time performance constraints. Requires an active Top Secret SCI clearance with appropriate polygraph.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering within programs of similar scope and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered)
• Expert-level command of at least one major language: Python, C, or C++
• Proven track record developing for both Windows and UNIX environments, including shell scripting and automation

Responsibilities

• Full-lifecycle development: design, code, and debug applications while articulating the underlying methodologies to stakeholders
• Manage large-scale datasets, implement advanced algorithms, and perform deep-level system optimization
• Develop and execute comprehensive test procedures, including Unit, Integration, and Regression testing
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, or Bamboo)
