About the role
We are seeking a Reverse Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to support our Defense and Homeland Security Division in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role involves analyzing malicious binaries to determine functionality and indicators of compromise, aiding in malware detection and mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, to ascertain functionality, capability, call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.
- Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.
Requirements
- Experience with malware reverse engineering.
- Expertise with Ghidra and/or IDA Pro is helpful.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or
- Associate’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Relevant experience must be in malware reverse engineering.
Skills
- CISSP, GIAC GREM, or CREA certification required.
- Information Assurance Certification may be required.
Pay
$160,000 - $210,000 per year. Final salary may vary based on geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
