Key Responsibilities
- Administer and enforce corporate credit policies in alignment with company guidelines and leadership direction.
- Maintain and update customer account information, ensuring records remain accurate, complete, and compliant with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Manage customer credit limits by reviewing requests, evaluating creditworthiness, obtaining credit reports, and approving credit adjustments within established authority levels.
- Process new customer credit applications, verify required documentation, establish approved accounts, and coordinate the collection and submission of tax-related forms.
- Review and manage job account requests, ensuring all required information is received, credit terms are established, and appropriate stakeholders are notified of account setup details.
- Serve as a primary contact for inquiries related to new account creation and credit application status.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient customer onboarding and account maintenance processes.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial credit, accounts receivable, revenue support, or a related financial function.
- Professional credit certifications, such as NACM, are a plus.
- Prior experience within a wholesale distribution environment is beneficial.
- Proven ability to establish positive working relationships with both customers and internal teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching team members is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to ensure compliance with company policies, training requirements, and safety procedures.
