About the role

Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC is a regulated electricity transmission and distribution business in Texas. The Revenue Security Representative role investigates suspected electric energy diversion to ensure proper metering and safety.

Responsibilities

• Research and investigate locations with suspected electric energy diversion
• Eliminate theft and remove public hazards by cutting and removing electric service
• Document findings using computer applications and proper evidence handling
• Coordinate with other functional groups to ensure proper procedures are followed
• Work various workdays, schedules, and locations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Texas Class C Driver License
• Two or more years of experience in investigative, inspection-oriented, loss-prevention, or research-oriented work environments
• Possession of a valid Texas Class C Driver License

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer and company applications
• Demonstrated knowledge of metering applications, including proper socket wiring diagrams, voltages, and associated dangers
• Ability to recognize substandard metering installations and take appropriate corrective action

Skills

• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Recognizes proper and improper meter base wiring and meter tampering
• Ability to recognize substandard metering installations and take appropriate corrective action
