Revenue Recovery Representative

About the role

The WK Medical Center Business Office is seeking an experienced individual to join their team at The WK Innovation Center. The position requires a strong work ethic, flexibility, dependability, excellent communication skills, and computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance to ensure the correct policy was billed
• Solicit recovery of denied payments to the hospital
• Research reasons given by the payor for the denial of claims
• Track and monitor denied claims

Requirements

Orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process as well as ongoing training. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

Experience in a medical billing environment is preferred but not required. Computer knowledge and initiative to work independently are essential.
