Responsibilities

• Enters patient/client billing into the provided software.
• Works on routine assignments within defined parameters, established guidelines and precedents.
• Follows established procedures and receives daily instructions on work.
• Provides effective communication amongst all team members regarding claim creation errors.
• Applies developing/basic working knowledge and experience to the job.
• Verifies accuracy of data, compiles data and translates information into multiple formats.
• Sets up and maintains billing systems.
• Ensures accurate submission of client claims.
• Reviews daily collections and monthly reporting, as well as recommendations for billing audits.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
• Data entry billing experience.
• Revenue cycle billing/collections/reimbursement experience.
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) Certification *through HFMA: Preferred.

Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
