About the role
The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing room revenue at Penn owned hotels for properties within a specific region. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Build and retain property level relations and provide superior service to both internal and external Revenue Management clients.
- Manage inventory, market mix, and pricing strategy for hotels in the Penn portfolio, focusing on a specific region.
- Develop and implement yield management data for executive review, offering recommendations for revenue maximization.
- Work with the Director of Revenue Management to define, plan, and manage specific analytics projects.
- Partner with other departments such as planning and analysis, direct marketing, sales, casino marketing, digital marketing, and mychoice to guide overall strategies and tactics.
- Develop and manage data quality and governance standards and practices.
- Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of predictive models.
- Utilize various reports, pacing, segmentation, and pricing reports to enhance forecasting processes.
- Aid in the development and modification of reporting strategies to maximize opportunities for consolidation and streamline property operations.
- Evaluate new technologies and software to improve tracking and streamline processes.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Two or more years of direct use experience with business intelligence querying software and database analytics.
- Experience working in a marketing or analytical function within the gaming industry is preferred, but not required.

- Technical proficiency and knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer).
- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Computational skills, including rate, ratio, and percent calculations.
- Ability to drive toward results and meet deadlines.

- Base Salary: $100,000 annually, based on experience.
