Hybrid remote position at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, CO — a scenic mountain community between Aspen and Vail, offering world-class outdoor recreation and the world’s largest hot springs pool.
About the role
Full-time, day-shift hybrid position working directly with Finance and Revenue Cycle leadership to optimize the hospital’s financial performance through detailed analysis of payer reimbursement trends, contract performance, and Epic Contract Modeling.
Responsibilities
- Analyze payer reimbursement trends and contract performance to identify revenue recovery and process improvement opportunities.
- Administer Epic Contract Modeling in collaboration with Finance, Revenue Cycle, IT, and other internal/external resources.
- Support Revenue Cycle leadership to maximize collections using the Contract Management system’s reporting capabilities.
- Act as primary liaison for vendors, contractors, and project sponsors while coordinating across organizational silos.
- Manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously using project/program planning best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, information systems, or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of healthcare business process/operational knowledge.
- At least 5 years of system utilization experience.
- Exceptional oral/written communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate methods across silos, and document/train effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Meditech 6x, Axiom Contract Manager, or similar systems.
- Revenue Cycle knowledge.
Pay
$86,444.80 to $129,667.20 per year. Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
