Revenue Integrity Analyst (Hybrid) 101 Truman Medical Center Job Location Northpoint Kansas City, Missouri Department Revenue Integrity Position Type Full time Work Schedule 8:00AM - 4:30PM Hours Per Week 40 Job Description Manages revenue integrity process to ensure accurate and timely changes are captured. Performs a variety of duties related to compliance for charging patient services and supplies. Priorities will include review of Charge Description Master for completeness and to establish charges for patient related services, procedures and supplies. Oversees APC program by implementing changes and education of staff. Works independently providing consultation to departments and entities. Work is received by the Manager of Revenue Cycle. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business or the equivalent in a combination of education and accumulated relevant experiencePossess and maintain certification as follows: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CPC-HExperience in auditing for medical procedures code accuracy and completenessMinimum of three years experience in a health care setting, preferably at a large acute care facilityExtensive knowledge of Medicare/ Medicaid guidelines required for complianceExperience in facilitating and training large and small groups and conducting one-on-one trainingAbility to effectively communicate with all departments that interface with the charge description masterAbility to collect and analyze cost data and prepare reports and documents utilizing a computer and various software data bases. Preferred Auditing CertificationExtensive experience with healthcare billing and reimbursement guidelinesCharge audit experience
