What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Submit timely and accurate invoices to payers for products and services provided, ensuring correct pricing and authorization
• Evaluate payments received for correctness and apply them accurately to patient accounts
• Follow up on invoices to ensure prompt payment and resolve any denials within 48 hours
• Maintain compliance with policies and guidelines, ensuring confidentiality when handling patient information
• Aid with Billing and Collection Training and complete second-level appeals to payers

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0 - 6 months of previous Infusion Reimbursement or Intake/Admissions experience
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel, including formatting and using basic functions
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word, including document editing and formatting
• Ability to understand and apply HIPAA guidelines

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Previous experience in home infusion services or healthcare billing
• Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
