Remote Medical Billing Specialist (Revenue Cycle Management)

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, payer follow-ups, and claim resolution
• Verify insurance benefits
• Follow up on accounts receivable over 30 days
• Review accounts receivable aging reports
• Post payments
• Obtain insurance authorizations
• Correct claims to prevent denials

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of medical billing experience with RCM responsibilities
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding
• Understanding of medical terminology and payer contracts
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Experience in Medicaid MCO billing preferred
• Multi-location billing experience preferred
