Revenue Cycle Manager (Senior Living)
About the role
The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for managing operations within the Revenue Cycle for Senior Living care. This includes ensuring timely Billing, Authorizations, and Financial Information Management.
Responsibilities
- Assure timely Billing and Authorizations
- Perform various functions in recording, tracking, and reporting financial information
- Analyze department controls, procedures, and daily activities in revenue cycle
- Audit, process, report, and reconcile accounts, projects, month-end and year-end closings
- Gather and import authorizations, pharmacy charges, rehab, medical supply, oxygen, transportation, clinic, and activities
- Ensure insurance authorization and verification, Medicare and Medicaid submissions
- Attend triple check in healthcare, drive the collection process
- Analyze managed care aged accounts, calculate contractual adjustment amounts, review accounts, and resolve account questions
- Review insurance denials, analyze and audit processes and financials
Requirements
- Possess complete understanding and execution of revenue cycle, Billing, and management principles
- Thorough working knowledge of a Microsoft computer software environment, specifically proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook programs
- Working knowledge of specialized Billing/Claims processing software
- Ability to meet strict deadlines, perform follow-through, multi-task, and possess extreme attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and be assertive, confident, and willing to accomplish tasks while researching and utilizing resources
- Knowledgeable about federal and state regulations and requirements
- Builds strong interpersonal relationships with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret reports, general business directives, and policy and procedure statements
- Possess exceptional basic math skills, including calculations in whole and percentages, averages, and ratios
- High level of efficiency and accuracy, attention to detail, and able to analyze large amounts of data
Qualifications
This position requires a self-starter who loves problem solving, has consistent follow-through, and is able to build relationships with the Senior adults we serve. The position requires in-depth working experience with the management of operations within the Revenue Cycle for Senior Living care.
