We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Operations Team as a Revenue Cycle Manager Full Cycle / Sensei Environment. What You'll Do: The Revenue Cycle Manager - Full Cycle / Sensei Environment oversees all RCM functions within the Sensei EMR/PMS environment to maximize cash flow while maintaining strong internal and external relationships. Working collaboratively across all MAX departments, the Manager oversees daily revenue operations, analyzes performance trends, establishes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and leads training initiatives to support and scale cross-functional teams during MAX’s ongoing Sensei rollout The successful candidate will be able to: Operations & Performance Management Key Metric Tracking: Monitor full-cycle RCM performance, analyzing key metrics (DSO, denial rates, AR aging, net collections) to identify trends and execute corrective action plansClaims & Collections: Ensure timely claim follow-up and payment posting while executing strategies to minimize denials and accelerate cash flowDiscrepancy Resolution: Resolve complex billing discrepancies and escalated denials in coordination with insurance carriers, practice teams, and patientsVendor Oversight: Oversee offshore/nearshore vendor performance, auditing daily payment posting across all practices and providing ongoing education on posting discrepancies Process Improvement & Team Leadership SOP Development: Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for RCM workflows within the Sensei environmentTeam Training & Mentorship: Train and mentor the in-house Sensei team on billing best practices, AR follow-up, documentation, and revenue integritySystem Rollout Leadership: Lead cross-functional alignment and provide operational direction to ensure a smooth, timely rollout of the Sensei EMR/PMS platformStrategic Projects: Execute targeted projects as directed by the Senior Director of RCM and senior stakeholders tied to the Sensei initiative Financial Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration Documentation Integrity: Work with clinical and practice teams to enforce proper documentation and coding practices that support clean claim submissionMonth-End Close: Manage deliverables for the month-end close process, including detailed variance analysisFinance Partnership: Partner with the MAX Finance and Accounting team on operating policies, AR collectability, bad debt, and refund managementRefund Approvals: Review and approve patient and insurance refund requestsSurgeon AR Reviews: Participate in monthly Surgeon AR review meetings alongside the Senior Director of RCM and CFOPayer Relations: Build and maintain positive payer relationships, negotiating payment resolution and navigating complex payer requirementsDepartmental Support: Perform additional duties, special projects, or legacy system RCM oversight as assigned to drive overall departmental performanceCommunication & Deadlines: Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain clear, proactive communication across all internal and external stakeholdersPerform any and all other duties as assigned What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field or a minimum of 10 years of healthcare management experience5+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare revenue cycle management with a proven track record of process optimizationProven experience in medical billing and a deep understanding of health insurance payers and reimbursement structuresProficiency in medical office software and EMR/PMS systems (experience with Sensei EMR/PMS strongly preferred)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skillsOutstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent customer service orientation and ability to resolve high-priority inquiries diplomaticallyAbility to thrive, adapt, and drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Perks of the Job: Highly competitive salaries & annual performance and compensation reviewsCompetitive health insurance and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and more401k retirement savings plan that includes employer matchGenerous Paid Time Off, sick leave, and paid holidaysAdvance your career growth with opportunities in the most extensive growing oral surgery practice in the Northeast About MAX Surgical Specialty Management: Established in September 2022 as the Northeast region’s first oral and maxillofacial surgery-only specialty platform, MAX Surgical Specialty Management is a surgeon-led management services organization developed with clinical and surgeon autonomy at its core.
