About the role

We’re partnering with an established healthcare organization looking for an experienced Revenue Cycle & Coding Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows medical billing inside and out but also understands the bigger picture—coding accuracy, reimbursement, denials, A/R, and the overall revenue cycle. You’ll play an important role in making sure claims are clean, payments are accurate, and revenue keeps moving.

Responsibilities

  • Manage medical billing and claims from submission through payment
  • Review and apply ICD-10 coding to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Research and resolve denied, rejected, and underpaid claims
  • Follow up with insurance carriers on outstanding reimbursements
  • Monitor A/R and identify issues impacting timely payment
  • Post and reconcile payments and patient accounts
  • Troubleshoot billing discrepancies and help keep the revenue cycle running smoothly
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance requirements

Requirements

  • Strong medical billing and revenue cycle experience
  • Hands-on ICD-10 coding knowledge
  • Solid understanding of insurance claims, denials, and reimbursement
  • Ability to dig into an issue, figure out what happened, and see it through to resolution
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative team

About this opportunity

You’re not just processing billing—you’ll have ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact on the organization’s revenue cycle.
