Revenue Cycle Analyst - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Analyze incoming revenue and measure income against expenses.
• Develop and implement improved revenue cycle processes and procedures from intake to collections.
• Review billing practices to guarantee accurate revenue recognition and invoicing.
• Prepare for financial audits by ensuring procedural compliance in revenue reporting and collection.
• Oversee bookkeeping practices and facilitate the collection of outstanding payments.
• Analyze revenue cycle data, prepare revenue forecasts, and perform trend analysis.
• Prevent payment delays by handling account queries and complaints in a timely manner.
• Present revenue cycle reports and forecasts, as well as identify opportunities to increase revenue.
• Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in revenue cycle management.
• Work with the provider credentialing department to ensure data is accurate for new payers and new locations and to resolve credentialing data impacting claim processing.

Summary

Responsible for optimizing businesses' revenue cycles from account creation to payment. Analyze incoming revenue against expenses, review billing practices, and perform revenue forecast analyses. This position is onsite Monday - Friday.

Qualifications

• Educations and Experience: Associate’s degree in accounting or related field. Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred. Minimum (2) two years’ experience in a clinical or HMO/Prepaid Revenue Cycle/Business Office environment. Epic experience preferred.
• Certifications, Licenses and Registrations: Certification on medical procedural coding or equivalent work experience.
