About the role

Assist in gathering and understanding business requirements from stakeholders to support the revenue cycle and other operational departments. Extract, evaluate, and transform large datasets into detailed and meaningful reports for various revenue cycle disciplines, including Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), Seamless Access, and Coding, to help identify revenue trends. Ensure data integrity and accuracy. Act as a liaison between IS&T and revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and meet deliverables for daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting within established timelines to support revenue cycle and other operational departments.
  • Create and validate reports to support departments within revenue cycle and other operational departments.
  • Prioritize and manage report requests to ensure accurate and timely turnaround.
  • Provide data analysis to various revenue cycle disciplines, including but not limited to HB, PB, Seamless Access, and Coding.
  • Support operational initiatives and projects.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1 year of experience in financial reporting or analysis (preferred).
  • Knowledge of reporting tools, including SQL-based analytics tools, Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, validate accuracy, and ensure data integrity.

Physical Demands

  • Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting and standing.
  • Frequent keyboard use.
