Revenue Cycle Analyst

About the role

On-site, full-time position in Overland Park, KS where you'll own a set of client accounts with a small team, with full benefits and no nights or weekends. HRG has billed for medical practices since 1999, and many client relationships have lasted 10, 15, or 20 years. All work is done in-house in the US, with no offshoring.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on unpaid and denied claims until they're resolved
• Submit claims, post payments and handle charge entry
• Build the monthly A/R reports your clients read
• Take billing calls from patients and questions from the practices you support
• Work inside each client's own EHR and payer portals, so no two accounts look exactly alike

Requirements

• 3+ years of medical billing, including denials and payer follow-up
• Comfortable in Excel and Word, and quick to learn new billing software
• Clear on the phone and in writing with payers, practices and patients

Pay

$23 to $26 an hour

Schedule

Five 8-hour days, or four 9-hour days plus a 4-hour remote Friday after 90 days
