About the Role
The Revenue Audit Clerk performs audit procedures on all gaming and non-gaming revenue activities and processes in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role ensures the accuracy of revenues recorded in gaming and non-gaming systems, investigates and reconciles variances, and assists with effective and efficient operations on the assigned shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily audits of gaming (Table Games, Slots, Cage, and Kiosk) and non-gaming (Food & Beverage, Hotel, Retail, and Ticketing) revenue and comps to ensure compliance with Minimum Internal Controls (MICS).
- Verify accuracy and correctness of all recorded transactions against original documents.
- Issue exception reports for any instances of non-compliance.
- Notify Supervisor or above of any potential inconsistency and assist with research and resolution.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all revenue reporting.
- Prepare daily journal entries to record revenue activity after completion of assigned audit.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly gaming MICS requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluency in English, and articulate expression.
- Work efficiently, independently, and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
- Apply basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) specific to position responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of revenue audit experience.
- Experience working in a similar resort setting.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Revenue audit experience in a high-volume casino/resort.
- Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Proficiency in 10-key and general office equipment.
- Excellent reading, writing, and math skills.
- A high level of interpersonal communication skills.
- Proactive with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work various shifts and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
- A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods with frequent bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
- Exposure to environmental factors such as noise, dust, and smoke.
- Work in close spaces with others.
