About the role

While this is a fully remote position, you must live in Idaho, Oregon, Utah, or Arizona to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Work remotely in a Monday through Friday business hours schedule.
• Work with insurance providers to resolve payment issues, identifying over- and under-payments.
• Research payer contracts and policies.
• Manage and resolve payer escalations from other departments.
• Build sustainable working relationships across teams.
• Develop and maintain a high level of expertise and competence in applications.
• Consult and advise users, management, and others concerning the purpose, features, functions, and proper uses of applications.
• Work closely with developers and trainers to create/design and update training documents, skill units, computer aids, reference tools, practice exercises and skill assessments utilizing a variety of formats based on workflow analysis.

Requirements

• Education: Associates degree or experience in lieu of degree
• Experience: One (1) years' relevant experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Two (2) years' relevant experience
• Payment recovery/reimbursement experience
• MS Excel and Epic application skills
• Health insurance provider experience/claims examiner background is an asset!
