Revenue Accounting Supervisor

As a Revenue Accounting Supervisor, you will serve as a people leader, providing coaching, development, and day-to-day guidance to a team of accounting professionals while continuously driving greater efficiencies and lower costs. You will collaborate with company partners to oversee the accumulation, recording, accuracy, and control of accounting transactions and assist in the resolution of accounting issues. Responsibilities/Expectations: Runs workforce planning and career development activities for team membersHolds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processesCoordinates efforts to ensure adequate financial accounting controls and integrity of our financial recordsCollaborates with others to establish and maintain accounting policies, standards and processes in compliance with GAAP and accounting regulationsCollaborates to develop and handle financial analysis and reportingLeads sophisticated projectsCommunicates with senior leadership regarding data and analysisOther duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting and minimum six (6) years of multifaceted accounting experiencePreferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Other Requirements: Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skillsDeep understanding of accounting procedures and policiesPrevious experience leading or supervising a team is preferred , Performs general supervisory tasks by leading work units that deal with general accounting or specialized accounting activities. Provides functional leadership in a team setting as well as plans and executes assignments of senior complexity. Develops, directs, plans and evaluates accounting policies and procedures including cost accounting, general accounting, and accounts payable and receivable. Involved in multi-discipline projects and interacts effectively with peers. Prepares, records, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions, including the coordination and administration of assignments. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects.
