We are seeking an Accounting Manager focused on Healthcare revenue to lead revenue accounting operations and drive process and reporting improvements across a complex, multi-entity environment. This highly visible role requires a hands-on, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can effectively collaborate with revenue cycle management and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead revenue accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Review and analyze financial results, including flux analysis and account reconciliations.
  • Oversee revenue accounting activities and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Partner with executive leadership to support financial reporting, compliance, and business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management and operational teams on complex accounts receivable matters, reserves, and revenue recognition.
  • Manage deferred revenue accounting and related reporting requirements.
  • Lead a combination of onshore and offshore accounting personnel, providing coaching, accountability, and performance management.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization efforts, and operational efficiencies across multiple systems and business units.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits and work closely with external auditors and advisors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Prior accounting experience within a complex, multi-location, or multi-entity organization.
  • Healthcare services, dental services, physician practice management, or other healthcare-related industry experience.
  • Experience with insurance receivables, third-party payor accounting, or revenue cycle operations.
  • Experience managing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Proven ability to lead through change and improve accounting processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with offshore/shared service accounting teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
